We’re at the Twenty One Pilots gig. Just wanted to report that there’s been successful Mexican waves and it’s hilarious how enthusiastically the entire arena claps when one is completed 🤣 Less than ideal seating bc we bought a cheapest seat after splurging on Robbie tickets for next month!

Just had second therapy of the day lol. Therapist this morning asked if we’d like to split the session up and see him again after we’d hopefully heard from the agents. Was a good call cause we had nothing to say this morning and lots of enthusiasm this afternoon! 🥹 SO HAPPY. 🤞🤞🤞🥹🥹🥹

Slept from 10-5 for the first time in years. Felt awful for it and now we think we’ve got a bug 😭 explains the long sleep. Viewing a couple of houses tomorrow and have the final ND writers thing on Sunday so hoping it’s not too bad 😭 at least it will pass the time but meh lol.

Being very mental about river house. Our offer is the lowest of 3, but we can go higher than those, & there are a bunch more viewings tomo/Sun. Spoke to the agents again & they said can call on Monday to find out what the situation is. Trying to prepare for bad news, but there’s a sliver of hope.

We’ve withdrawn the offer we made a week ago and made an offer for the house with the river at the bottom of the garden!!!! 😬😬😬😬 Yesterday was tough as we had to choose between three houses all with different things we like! Argh! We hope we are successful, bc river! Kingfishers! Ducks! 🥹🤞

The mobile vet was not the good news we were hoping for. It didn’t take long for Jason to work out who she was. She triggered us telling us he’s overweight and he should lose 2-3kg. The only long term solution she offered for his pain is injections that cost £85 per month. Less than ideal.

Spend much of the night pondering the river house and asked Ben this morning to find the reason why it’s a definite no. And it doesn’t have good internet. Which is a definite no. So sad. Viewing some other no houses and the house we’ve made an offer on again today. Tired.

A house has come up that has a river at the bottom of the garden 😮 it’s actually a really good size, has most of what we want, is affordable, but too far out of town really 😭 and we’d be worried about flooding. But that would be very cool.

A vet’s coming to see Jase soon. We’ve been going to the same vets forever but Jason gets so stressed we investigated mobile vets. Figured scans won’t tell us anything we don’t know (we know he’s got arthritis and old injuries in both shoulders) so hopefully she’ll examine him & prescribe pain meds🤞

Jason refused his morning walk this morning and is saying it really is past his afternoon walk time and is a bit mad with his mum(s) for lying in bed when it’s past walk time and he has important sniffing to do. But it’s so hard to get up 😭 managed a short nap and just been lying for 45 mins.

Horrible night’s sleep. It’s been extra bad for a couple of weeks since the house business kicked off but last night there was so much worrying about everything, we were up for about 3.5 hours in the night & cried a lot. It’s just such a big decision when we could live in this house for 40 years.

Visited the geese today. Was nice to see Geoff and her friends! No big house news but we organised another viewing for the weekend. Not sure which we like more - house 1 is nicer but house 2 has things we’d really like that 1 doesn’t. (Two loos 🤣, south facing, bigger garden, adjoining & dry garage)

We’ve started trying to do some dogless walking 😭 Jason is now on permanent short walks (2 x 15 ish mins a day) because of bad shoulders, so we’re gaining weight lol. Today we picked up HRT & visited the geese and did a walk around our old haunts. Felt like we were cheating on the poor old boy 😭😭😭😭

As an aside, if communication is occurring, the system is ready for it. Sometimes it needs support or may need to slow. But the system knows better than the therapist. Clients are experts of their own experience. Even plural clients.

Yesterday we had therapy in the morning, exhaustion was increasing & after finding Jason’s back seat cover doesn’t fit in the Aygo, littles decided they hate the new car 🤦‍♀️ they were angry it’s not as nice as Ben’s (at a quarter of the price - obviously 🤣🤦‍♀️). Anyway it was hormones & today is better!

We asked our husband to write a statement for our PIP review and reading it was horrible. Like he doesn’t grudge all the things he has to take care of for us (we think lol), but reading it all in black and white without exaggeration was so painful 😓

It took about a week & a half but we did this 🤣 next time we buy a jigsaw we’re getting a 500 piece one! It’s been good. A funny difference between systems is access to info, like how to drive. Just to say that the way we are everyone knows how to drive & we’re always a co-conscious blend of ppl, & would never drive if we’re not feeling up to it. Apparently if you look on the government website to see companies that are "disabled friendly" and then look for how many jobs are available from these companies there are 137 jobs for the whole of the UK. So fat chance for majority of disabled people they want to throw off benefits into work.

Ugh gotta wear the normal person mask though, but fortunately people usually don’t notice when you repeatedly dissociate mid sentence and have a load of different voices coming out of your mouth 🤣 Controlling Tildy and her gang of smols will be difficult though!

After encouraging Ben to get his Alfa a month and a half ago, last week he sold his Leaf and our littles cried for days that now we’ve only got this big fancy fast car that’s worth much more than we are used to. Ben offered to get us something cheap and small, so we’re on our way to see an Aygo!

Aiming to be fully independent is not the best goal I think it's healthier to acknowledge we're all interdependent in some ways, and this often takes the pressure off feeling bad, if we need to ask for help
