There are times when I wanna nerd out about something that annoys me a bit or makes me excited but I find myself doing it less often these days because apparently people think I am genuinely pissed off when I get animated about a subject. We don't talk about the thing after that, just if I'm okay.

Found out about Spotify running ads for ICE. I cancelled my subscription with them immediately and now running Tidal instead, which is cheaper and just as functional.

I just watched Madame Web. It really wasn't that bad. The thing that throttled it wasn't really the character so much as the strange reality in which she got all these cool Spider powers in a world that has never known a Spiderman. "*gasp* Walking on walls? But... but that's impossible!!"

Man so with all the free time I now have, I think I am addicted to No Man's Sky. I just got the game like less than a week ago and have 20+ hours invested into it. Apparently that style of gameplay is my jam, I guess.

So I've seen the Avatar The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra animated series. Giving the Live Action Netflix show a fair shake, and I gotta say, it ain't bad. Pretty damn faithful to the animated show. Condensed, obviously, but faithful and fun!

Fireworks were noticeably suppressed this year. There were some but it was very low key. I mean what the fuck is there to celebrate or do except explode some stuff for the kids and younger crowd? My sister did get some small ones for my nephew, but man it hit different this year.

I keep having little panic attacks. My heart races, I have trouble catching my breath, I have to stop doing whatever I was doing to recover any sense of focus and I'm always a couple seconds away from tears. Losing that job has fucked me up, I have a job in the wings but I can't stop this terror.

Day two of not working begins. I am anxious, but setting wheels in motion for a job at a port. I will not be unemployed long, it seems.

So I no longer work for Walmart, but I think it's high time I refocused on hobbies and fun things. I have been pretty miserable working for this company so maybe this change will be for the better. I guess I will refocus my attention to art and gaming.

I really wanted a fresh start and avoiding negative news with this website. Twitter made me manic and anxious and depressed and I'm worried I'm gonna fall back to old habits here. I desperately need to get back into doing art.

Trying to explain what tariffs are and do to my mom and basically got a finger-in-the-ears shoutback because she is upset her Temu shopping experience is currently worse and me explaining why the things she used to buy now costs so much has "ruined (her) happiness". Didn't even get to explain it.

Sorry I just needed to vent that. I will go back to my random bullshit now.
