Why are Maccabi Tel Aviv an Israeli club allowed to play in the European Champions League? Tasnima from @elsclegal explains on our recent podcast how this is another clear example of how Israel operates as a settler colony. Whole episode here:

Even back in the 70s and 80s when I could be hassled by the police for walking while trans, no one ever tried to stop me pissing in the Ladies or tried to make me change into my swimsuit among men. There is no dignity or respect involved in taking away rights I have exercised freely for forty years

It's truly indefensible, and in the case of the Hillsborough law you can't tell me that it's not at least partly to protect eg David Lammy and Yvette Cooper over their statements re Gaza.

They did the same thing with the Hillsborough law. They just straight up lied to people in struggle, and no one with any clout will say so, because they think it's good that they lied. The worst people in politics.
