Way too many liberals criticize the Gov, and Mayors for calmly and patiently trying to maintain peace and law and order, not realizing that isn't a weakness but a strength and a strategy in preparation for legal action against the Insurrection Act. Keep doing the "Good Trouble". Hold the line.

There is so much undocumented violence, torture, and god knows what else. I picked up a guy who was walking on the side of the road yesterday, shirtless. 14F,7wchill. They took his jacket, tore his shirt, trashed his phone, and left him. So, I drove him somewhere safe. Cruelty.

This is true. And speaks volumes about the hierarchal structure and care that exists here. The people have a serious situation. The local reps join us and experience it with us. They report to the executive, and the exec delivers updates, and suggestions to the rest of us. It is keeping us sane.

Mpls and St Paul schools are closing and prepping for online option learning for the foreseeable future. As a lifelong Minnesotan, I've seen school closings for blizzards and pandemics. Never for repeated violent threats from my own government.

There sure are a lot of non-locals telling Minnesotans how to respond to militant occupation on BlueSky, and if you're not from here, experiencing it firsthand, I recommend you do more listening than talking. Until this hits your home, you have no idea what this is like yet.

Even the local police are mostly neglecting us, and if anything they lean toward helping ICE. We have formed small groups of civilian patrols to protect our most vulnerable spaces, like our kids' schools, to try to prevent kidnappings by our federal government. I try to do about 2-3 rounds per day.

In Minnesota, it is important to know, they don't have judicial warrants. This is a significant legal issue that most of us feel justifies us obstructing our people being snatched up.
