Missing Link Bumblebee Anime ver. Ever since The Transformers Collection reissues, the G1 Bumblebee toy has sportesd a retooled head in a lot of subsequent releases based in his animated character model head and that is what has happened here. #Transformers

Missing Link Cliffjumper Anime ver. My G1 Cliffjumper has upgrade stickers that try to mimic what Takara has given us here. It's amazing the power a figure can achieve when you paint its black parts grey and cast its windows in blue plastic. #Transformers

According to my updated #Transformers collection spreadsheet, I have spent over £30k on third party unofficial figures and upgrades since I started collecting them around 20ish years ago. I didn't think I had that many.

Megadrive Megatron A fabulous oddity. It's a great figure to have but it does let you appreciate how well engineered #Transformers are now. If this were made today, the overall engineering would likely be the same but the types of joint and materials used would be radically different.

Bonecrusher with DNA upgrades. The upgrade was a pain to apply as I had to buy a full de-pinning kit to get the bucket off. But it was worth it as he has a waist now, which those of us who have survived xmas can appreciate now. Also he has some slippers so his feet aren't as dainty. #Transformers

Played the BF's Witch Hunters with an Undead warband to teach him the rules of #Mordheim. I decided to voluntarily rout after my Vampire got taken out of action by being slapped repeatedly with a fish. In the after game he rolled a double 1 and died. Obviously the fish had been smeared with garlic.

Robotmasters Reverse Convoy Though mostly a line of repaints Robotmasters did produce a few original moulds. Reverse Convoy was unique in that it was a retool of a older mould, the G2 Hero Megatron. #Transformers

Studio Series Barricade I have the Premium Edition of this design which had different accessories. Considering SS is meant as a premium line its disappointing that this is missing the 'To Punish and Enslave' tattoo the main retail toy included. #Transformers

Age of Primes Quickstrike After the disappointmentbthat was the Transart Quickstrike Hasbro gets it right. This figure is a marvellous update of the 1998 basic figure. He's solid and improves what came before. One big improvement is a waist. #BeastWars #Transformers

Timelines Turbomaster / Scorch / Singe The bot of many names! Ostensibly a G1 character Botcon released him during their G2 era. He was an older bot sent to Earth to mentor the new second generation of bots who were created there. He came pqckaged with Shattered Glass Ravage. #Transformers

Shadow Striker with @toyhax upgrades. These upgrades do a great job of filling in for the inadequacies of the sculpt. Shadow Striker's main piece of lore is the horrific nature of her reconstructive surgeries and the basic toy is too uniform to get that across. #Transformers
