I must say that Linux has been fast, clean and stable so far. I've installed DaVinci Studio, Darktable and Gimp; it's built as a video editing workstation. For shitz and giggles, I installed Steam to see if it'd run games through Proton and the Windows compatibility layer, and it does. It's fast too

Well, I pulled the trigger and have replaced Windows with Linux on my video editing workstation. So far so good - and yes, DaVinci Resolve Studio runs natively on Linux, so all good. Not keen on Gimp. DarkTable seems a decent replacement for Lightroom... let's see how this goes.
