I ordered the dual layered NIN Peel It Back Poster, it won’t actually ship until next month. So today’s art project was coming up with stencils ideas to choose from once it arrives. This has to be the coolest tour merch item ever conceived and executed. I can’t wait to start ripping it apart!

I cannot express enough, how fucking amazing the NIN Peel It Back tour is. If they don’t release a tour video I’d be shocked. Hearing everyone sing “bad luck, FIST FUCK!” in Wish was surreal. The remixes with Boys Noize was no joke. If you’re going to Coachella you need to see Nine Inch Noize.

We, @theworkingdead.bsky.social and I, are finally seeing Nine Inch Nails tonight. And from all the hype around this tour, it is THE tour to see. Especially for first timers. Lots of folks say an artist/band saved their life, NIN is that band for me.

This is absolute horse shit and I hope everyone that voted in favor never knows a moment of peace again. Air horns and cowbells outside of their bedroom windows, restaurants refusing seats, businesses refusing service. Full on public shunning for the rest of their miserable spineless lives.

This girl had her spay surgery on Friday, and knowing how you can’t tell a cat what to do, and cones suck, I cut the leg off of a pair of leggings for her to wear. She had some freedom from it today to bath herself, but as soon as she started for the stitches, back into the suit she went.

I love that there is a comic shop in my area that puts on events like this. I’ve been to 2 now, and look forward to more. They have one of the best event line management systems I’ve seen and the crew in the NoHo shop have always been super friendly. Highly recommend checking them out.

Got up early today for a screening of Disney’s Robin Hood at the New Beverly. Tons of giggling kids seeing it for the first time. I wore my vhs of it out, it actually unspooled in the vcr mid play. Just my 4 y/o ass crying as my fav movie spilled out onto the floor in front of me.

Today was a good mail day, no bills, just loot from @jellybox.bsky.social kickstarters for Umbert Actually! Love everything in here, but this sonic inspired shirt is the prize of the pack.

I can’t wait for the full album! Also love that the first single is with Sparks. The one and only time I actually secured tickets to a Gorillaz show, they canceled a few weeks after it went on sale with some weird lore soaked excuse. Hopefully I can get to one of their shows someday.

Success on the bootleg patches. One for my jacket, one for the concert scrapbook. Now to get cracking on original designs, small scale for starters using embroidery hoops for frames. Eventually I’ll start making custom frames with canvas stretch bars.

Today’s task at hand, trying my hand at a silkscreen. I picked up supplies last month but haven’t had a chance to play around. And since Oasis didn’t have any patches at the merch tables, I don’t want to hit the pop up in Hollywood to check, I’ll be making my own as a test run.

Holy shit! Oasis is really back, for real life! Seriously though, seeing Noel and Liam walk out on stage holding hands and hugging each other before starting the set actually made me tear up a bit. Then ending the show thanking the fans and acknowledging how difficult a band they can be to support.

Watched Death of a Unicorn, and honestly all the negativity I kept seeing didn’t match my experience. I had a lot of fun with it, loved the unicorn designs, sure some cg was a bit wonky but that’s fine. I was fully entertained, but my undying unicorn obsession may have made me the target audience

This time tomorrow I should be home after seeing Oasis. A band, that even at the time I purchased these tickets, I wasn’t fully convinced would ever happen. I know I say that a lot about a ton of bands, but Oasis is a whole other level of “I’ll believe it when I see it”
