The problem with make too many baked goods this year, the pumpkin pie stayed in the fridge yesterday. Just means I’m having pie for breakfast, lunch, and dinner today. I’ve dubbed it the pumpkin spiced pumpkin pie because I accidentally doubled the spices when making it. Highly recommend.

The biggest gift my kid got for Christmas this year was anxiety, in the form of a tamagotchi. Which she specifically asked for and is now in a constant state of high alert and fear of how it will upend her life.

Welp, the Christmas tree (fake tree) didn’t even make it past 8 hours of being out and up. The kittens toppled their cat tree into it and busted several branches. And this is why we decided lights only and no ornaments, we have the wildest babies who only bring chaos and cuddles.

One unexpected side effect of top surgery that I saw no mention of, drinking cool or cold drinks feel so much colder. Like uncomfortably so, once you swallow your chest cavity just feels weird as the coldness spreads. It better not be permanent because I really hate this sensation.
