Aw man. We played the better majority of the game. Their 2nd and 3rd goal finishes were clutch. The 2nd goal definitely burst our bubble. Far too lax with defending before the 2nd goal. I think we were too nervous to start.

Tough loss for the Whitecaps today but there’s a lot of positives for the team after this season. They are now a respectable club in the MLS now. They are a relevant team in Vancouver. And thanks to Muller, the club is now a destination for high end talent.

Fantastic season for the Whitecaps. Schuster has done the unthinkable: built a fun, likable squad with depth and paired it with a head coach that gets the best out of the players. The Mueller signing was the cherry on top. If they can play him and a fully fit Gauld together, #VWFC will be back.
