Well. Apparently my memory of LaTeX never really left, which is nice. Also wow, Overleaf has changed a lot in the last... near decade and now has spell check.

It's taken over a decade, but the original bulb in my Lumie alarm clock has finally gone. Lumie now don't sell spare bulbs for any of the bodyclock range by the looks of it, which is disappointing.

"Resilience" is often a term bandied about by corporations to take the focus off poor culture and make it a "you" problem. If only *you* were a bit more resilient, it'd all be fine. It's a control tactic.

YAY! Another rejection. Genuinely not sure which is worse: spend hours on an application; get rejected without shortlisting and thus no feedback. Or get invited to interview, spend hours on prepping for said interview, get rejected for something I can't change.

I do not enjoy it when places update their API. I swear the Todoist API was nicer to use than this last time, and the docs for the python SDK were *definitely* better.

Is it just me, or is it ridiculously difficult to remove all traces of a work/uni microsoft account off your laptop when you leave? I've just installed the desktop version of Teams, because the web version isn't reliable enough for interviews, and it's automatically logged me in with uni acc?!

Universities have a well documented problem of assaults, bullying and harassment, alongside worsening mental health, loneliness and disengagement. Minoritised students and staff are familiar with having their very existence challenged and are regularly exposed to all manner of 'uncomfortable truths'
