Finally got a chance to try this cool little escape room game I picked up at GenCon from @grandgamersguild.bsky.social The item system is so clever and reminds me of classic point and click adventures. There was a point where I thought I was almost done and it was just the halfway mark!

I just finished @manysidedmedia.bsky.social's Slugblaster campaign and what a ride! It was so fun to follow the Huh????? crew's teen drama and the epic highs and lows of high school football--I mean Slugblasting. In all seriousness it was everything I want in a campaign--humor and heart. AND...

Here are all my reads for August. I just know my younger self would have been obsessed with Medusa specifically. It would have been a good counterpoint to my Percy Jackson obsession because I was also an OG Zeus hater and monster sympathizer.
