I braved the spiders and got the clean rocks out. Now there's room for seedy rocks and I can keep sifting. One week left. Will I make it? Who knows! I've made lots of progress but I feel like my bones will shatter at any moment lol

Running out of room to process rocks, I grabbed a plastic sheet to lay down. The plastic sheet, turns out, was a spider metropolis. Big ones, little ones, spiders of all shapes and sizes skittering about. I think I'm done gardening forever now.

Recurring monthly donations via our Ko-fi are super helpful, but honestly what would make the most impact is if folks who were able to spend even a few hours a week volunteering with their local shelters to do TNR in their area. There are cats *everywhere* and TNR is the best way to help directly.

When you're broke as hell but also desperate, you get inventive. 😂 Found an old dresser on the curb while walking the dogs this morning. Took one of the drawers, busted out the bottom, and put it on a metal screen door protector. DIY soil sifter! It works a treat! 👍

Some days I have a good grip on my adhd. Some days I'm walking around with one sock on for hours because I got distracted while taking socks off and was fully oblivious to what was happening with my body, including the fact one foot was very hot while the other was a little chilly.

Timeline cleanse: more cool rocks I found, including a wishing stone! The dessicated prune on the bottom right is actually made of 100% sparkles. The top right has the coolest pattern I've ever seen, like a saltwater taffy. It probably doesn't taste like saltwater taffy though.
