The biggest reason why I dislike the idea of respectability in dress is because it conflates the *appearance* of virtue with *actual* virtue. Wearing a suit doesn't make you respectful, intelligent, or capable, just as wearing a leather jacket doesn't make you rugged.

I think its fine to have art content you dont enjoy, approve of or want to see, and establishing a personal boundary is healthy But as anti-porn and anti-art fascism continues to ramp up i think you need to weigh how publicly calling people freaks, degens, weirdos etc is feeding these attitudes

Lmao zine drama is happening in the TF fandom again. Please take these template images and go make your own mini zines with your friends on magma, or just make one alone! Zines are for everyone, art is for everyone! Zines should not be about policing who can draw what on their own private accounts.

Mods- Stop chasing “professionalism.” Your zine isn’t a start-up. Let chaos happen. Let artists make weird, messy art. Let conflict resolve slowly. Participants-Demand spaces that prioritize human connection over engagement. If a server feels like an HR department, leave.
