I found out today that ICE was at the hospital where I trained for residency. I am not ok. In the 3 years I trained there I’ve seen hundreds upon hundreds of undocumented patients, and to think that any one of them could have been picked up today is absolutely devastating.

Because I loved what @inaturalist.bsky.social was doing, I have painstakingly identified almost every single observation of Kellet's whelks (my study species) available on iNat. If they continue down this road, I will delete my account, my observations, and my identifications.
