I agree 100% with Adam. It makes sense to pause a candidate's appearance on an Era Committee ballot for one voting cycle if they get fewer than five votes. This is a good way to get different candidates onto these ballots. A permanent ban after getting fewer than 5 votes twice? I am against that.

I agree with Adam. My guess is that this is solely a result of the PED hysteria and a way to get Bonds/Clemens etc out of eligibility. This sucks.

Great article by Theo about the trickiest aspect of my Hall of Fame projections. I'll add one thing: 10 private voters (14% of total) are affiliated with Elias Sports Bureau and we know nothing about their voting history. If they coordinate and vote as a bloc, that would majorly impact private %s.
