I’m quite excited to be getting back to work tomorrow. Which makes me in inverse of a lot of other people who are very glad to be stopping for a bit. I am an inverse person it seems. Ah well.

It’s not much but I finally had the space and energy to make a wee studio for myself. There will be a floor nest of course. Tomorrow is day 1 of studio life. Doing it my way. 😻

In May @ambleskuse.bsky.social's opera, Divergent Sounds, opened at the Southbank Centre, with a libretto by me and brilliantly sung by @slampreasoprano.bsky.social. It's a verbatim piece about neurodivergence, and it was very special to watch an audience feel seen in an art form for the first time.

On Thursday my laptop screen went stripey. Yesterday I lost my two most important folders on my laptop (since recovered!). Today the screen died altogether and my hoover broke. I think I’ve got electrical voodoo vibes. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

I’ll be sharing our work “All who are weary and heavy laden, I will give you rest” on Wednesday at @hcmfuk. Commissioned by @northernlights_project and featuring @bosko_begovic movement artist. The work was made across Celtic country countries, Brittany, Hebrides, and Northern Ireland.

Today started with my folder for my HCMF piece disappearing along with my entire PhD folder. When I did retrieve the piece, Logic said it was corrupted. So.. yeah, adrenaline issues now. Luckily I backed up last night and was able to restore. This is your reminder to time machine NOW!
