Speaking of Warner Bros cartoons I can absolutely tell that Animaniacs was directly inspired by this movie Richard Stone must've been a fan of the melodies to this musical because I swear there's actual references in actual Animaniacs songs A lot of times "wait I heard this in Animaniacs before"

Singin' in the Rain also perfectly fits into the "live-action looney tunes cartoon" sub-genre especially the "Make Em' Laugh" number like holy shit I can literally imagine Bugs Bunny singing that one lol

12 Angry Men is so timeless to me, takes place in the 50s but I couldn't really tell because the dialogue, themes are that universal
