Did you know that the film Jim Carrey did after The Truman Show (1998) was a mockumentary on a performance artist? Man on the Moon (1999) is an homage to the life and art of SNL performer Andy Kaufman who faked faking his own death. We’re talking about it on Tues, DM for the link to the film & Zoom

The dial is up to 11, the shattered edges are glistening, and the façade is deceiving. Whatever you see is amplified to the zenith because "we are fighting a powerful enemy in a war of ideology."The release of Showgirl is about being so flamboyant your motive is obscured. It’s performance art time!

And this right here is what makes me still believe that Taylor is going to do something big. There is a reason she has found inspiration in this woman and sees herself in her and it’s not the men and the misunderstandings and all that…
