I have put together a little video guide to Nigel Farage's umm... evolving views on hecklers. They seem to be quite dependent on whether the heckler disagrees with him (bad, boring, frightening, dangerous), or shouts abuse at a woman in the street (buy him a pint/give him a peerage).

I'm sick of reading about councils trying to stop clean energy projects using planning law. The government regularly has to step in. To be clear - power in general needs to be devolved, including budgetary powers, but cheap energy is of national interest

Councillor Howard Rimmer, Roman Ridge has been elected the Reform UK Leader in Doncaster. Reform UK, you've not only elected a racist who is "against Islam", he's ableist and a misogynist, and you've allowed him to be leader of a council. Let's look at his posts.

Angela Rayner cleared by HMRC over tax affairs paving the way for potential leadership bid
Exclusive: former deputy prime minister says investigation ‘clipped my wings’ as she settles £40,000 in unpaid stamp duty Angela Rayner has been cleared by HMRC of deliberate wrongdoing or carelessness over her tax affairs, the Guardian can reveal, paving the way for a potential leadership bid as Keir Starmer’s grip on power unravels. The former deputy prime minister has settled £40,000 in unpaid stamp duty after initially paying the lower rate, but has not paid any penalty as a result of the investigation. HMRC was also satisfied there was no tax avoidance. Continue reading...
