Had an amazing time volunteering with the 26th Precinct Community Council today, helping distribute turkeys and food to families in West Harlem for the Thanksgiving holiday. It’s heartwarming to see the power of community coming together this holiday season.

This past Friday, I joined Assemblymember Jordan Wright at 3333 Broadway for a turkey distribution to ensure that our neighbors have access to food heading into Thanksgiving. Grateful to everyone who came out, volunteered, and supported our community!

We’ve lost a huge housing activist with Michael McKee’s passing. His integrity, courage, & passion inspired my own activism. I was honored to be endorsed by Tenants PAC last yr, when I ran for Assembly, & speak at their fundraiser. Grateful for his legacy. Rest in power, Michael.
