#xfiles25days Day 8: fav s4 episode Paper Hearts. It centers on the Samantha storyline without being a typical mythology ep. A compelling villain. Protective Scully. And, of course Mulderangst - the scene in morgue where he’s looking for a broken collarbone to see if the skeleton is Samantha 💔🥺

#xfiles25days Day 7: fav Doggett scene This scene was probably the first that softened my feelings toward Doggett. Say what you will about him, but he did care and try to offer support for Scully.

#xfiles25days Day 6: fav overall MSR moment The hand holding, the gazing, Scully’s clear fear for Mulder, his humor to deflect from the seriousness of the situation. The deep connection evident in this scene really got me hooked on MSR.

This feels like we’re in one of the Jurassic Park sequels where a lot of us were like “hey let’s not try this again because last time the dinosaurs got loose” but other people were like “well, maybe the dinosaurs won’t get loose this time.”
