Whenever some sanctimonious Dem announces that America needs a functioning Republican Party, I always think “I’d settle for a functioning Democratic Party.”

There’s really something that pisses me off about D1 coaches refusing to go to their bench. Eva Hudson rolls her ankle, crawls off, stops play, and UK coach thinks “I’d rather play with an injured player and risk further injury than go to my bench.” No wonder these women transfer out. Bullshit.

I can’t remember what I logged on here to say. The first two posts I read on my feed completely threw me off. I’ve always been able to manage my multiple personalities but managing multiple social media accounts is exhausting.

In a functional party system, this kind of capitulation in the face of authoritarianism could mean the end of the Democratic Party. In our system, it could mean the end of the two party system. Neither party can represent the pro-democracy majority. It's time for something new.

Everything you’re saying is great (and mostly true) But Dems hating their own party members and wanting to oust or primary them is not going to be the productivity that party needs. Republicans are die-hard and don’t oust anyone. This whole system is fuxked. New party now!

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength. Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans. The American people need more from their leaders.

The reason people think the Democratic Party doesn't actually stand for anything is because it doesn't.

The electoral college, if it stays, should be directly proportional to the current demographics of the US. Otherwise, ditch it. Acreage shouldn’t get a vote. Also, all campaigns should have equal funding limits. Also, voters should vote blindly by topic, not candidate. I want to watch people cry.
