We have just deployed a server side change to prevent the map "Meltdown" from appearing in Crucible playlists. Issue at hand: Players could get out of bounds, reaching previously inaccessible portions of the map that gave unintended advantages. A fix is planned for next week.

Got hit by layoffs today, most of RaD was hit. It's been incredible to work on so many amazing experiences with so many great people. That was the best team at the studio for sure. Culture, skill, and collaboration. I'll miss it.

btw the reasons these layoffs happen is because the game company is making profits, but the profits aren't the projected profits, so the C-suite declares the profits are invalid then they put their head to the wall and slam it with a large cartoon wooden hammer and repeat

As far as I can tell the entire gameplay capture team for bungie stuff got laid off (including related Sony peeps). If you want to hire one of the best game capture teams in the biz, we are all now roaming around (and I still am) Posting this cause that team isn’t really a social media crew

Impacted by the layoffs today. I was really hoping Bungie could hold on for at least another 2 years so I could get my 15 year sword XD It's been a dream to get to work with the best developers in the industry making some of the coolest shit. May all of us land on our feet <3

I guess this a get emotional about Destiny 2 & its team day. My mind has scrutinized every detail from c-suit to payment models. Continuing to hope that the assailing horrors are not able to win. Destiny... the team... all deserve so much better!
