This year we're excited to be hosting the Game Accessibility Gathering remotely as well as in person! Here's what to expect if you're joining us remote: 🧵 1/5

📣 We've released 5 extra tickets for the Gathering! We (briefly) sold out earlier today, so we looked into our reserves and had some spare tickets put aside for extra volunteers which we don't need, so now there are a few more general admission tickets available.

🎟️ We have less than 10 tickets left for the in-person event so remember to get your ticket if you haven't already! Tickets for attending in-person will close in one week, on Monday 7th July, a few days ahead of the Gathering so we can handle the admin for attendees.

We're so pleased to announce that this year we are partnering with @nothingwithoutus.bsky.social, a non-profit created by disabled gamers with the aim to increase inclusion within the UK games industry. 💜 Through this partnership will hope to explore ways to bring the Gathering to more people.

The gathering focuses on approachable, 15 minute micro talks. It could be a great opportunity for someone who hasn’t done many talks before. And we’re especially keen on giving a platform to speakers with lived experience of disability.
