TTRPGS are not video games there will always be a tactile competent and sometimes you gotta think . Does our tactile component match the feel. If you are about playing with fate, drawing a card may be it if you are about Gambling, Rerolling dice over and over for that perfect number could be it

The dice or cards or whatever you use for your game should feel correct for the vibe you are going for and jsut to say it out loud 2d6 is rarely going to fit every situation you could be going for. Sometimes rolling A DOZEN DICE feels right for the vibe or rolling 1 d20 or drawing a CARD
