Generally Ansir isn’t a very happy person. He’s bot gloomy but he tends to just settle for “content” or “satisfied”. However becoming a cook and having others enjoy itnhas started to make him happy, and he’s gotten a lot better at being so in general during Dawntrail.

Ansir is decently capable of keeping his temper, aside from snarking in tenser situations. However once his temper is actually lost he tends to be very harsh and scathing to make up for it.

Ansir has absolutely broken ribs, fingers and toes plenty of times while adventuring. the worst he's ever gotten however came from Nael in the Binding Coils. he broke every bone in his right arm dealing the killing blow, and had to recover before the final coil. He really hates Nael.

Purely platonically Ansir and Sadu match each others freak for fighting. For a while when they would go off alone into the wilderness it was assumed to be a tryst. But after one particularly rough session Sadu returned with a broken nose and Ansir some cracked ribs, most assume its just sparring.

Ansir would never accept the mic, but there are some Moogles who since some nice if haunting songs that claim to have heard them out in the wilderness from a decent voice they couldn’t find a source of.

I was very much hoping that in KH4 we could get a chance to fight Darth Vader. With the “slasher” way he’s been portrayed these last few years I thought it would be awesome, but I know they’ll use AI and ruin James’s entire tone of the character so now I dread the idea.

Ansir’s ability to quell chaos is mostly down to his willingness to hit right at what he considers the problem. That being said he’s not very good at being gentle about it, and on occassion has made situations far worse, leading to cooler heads like Alphinaud or Raha to defuse tensions.

Due to his past, Ansir is a lot more apathetic over empathetic for his own survival, however he is trying to unlearn that mindset a bit, but he does “shut off” that empathy if he feels its for the better, much to the concern of those closer to him.

Ansir can somewhat navigate social settings but he’s not a butterfly by any means. He’s especially bad if he doesn’t like someone, as there’s barely an attempt to keep things civil. In general he’s better off with people he’s used to rather than strangers, but not entirely hopeless.

Easily my fav suit. Its just so stylish.

THERE’S THE BOY!

While Ansir isn’t knowledgeable per say, he’s far more emotionally intelligent and perceptive that people expect. Even if he can’t deduce it himself, he can quickly sniff out if someone is lying or hiding something, and can shock people with good manipulations.

#wolqotd / #wolquestion Ansir prefers salty and meaty snacks, and the regiment he made from Dragoon training means he consumes more calories for a “snack” then others. As such a slice or two of pizza works as a “snack” for him, though he has become really fond of tacos since visiting Tural.

Bouncing off of this to say that Discworld has one of the best queer allegories I’ve seen writte about with the “Female Dwarf” conflict that spans multiple books and is integral in terms of the world. That and the book “Monstrous Regiment” as a whole was amazing.

My main, Ansir and several of my others are WoL, but to me I count anyone with the Echo as a Warrior of Light. In terms of story though yes he is the “main” one.

Canonically my WoL Ansir has never kissed. He’d probably be very confused from that sort of affection especially if suddenly given. My Lala Morio, however, is a Lominsan flirt of high tier, and loves to give kisses on the hand to ladies and gents he comes across.

Been wanting to design a spider character for my Eden setting. I wanted the Arachnid and Insect races of that world to be inspired by things like Kamen Rider, Mega-man, and Mecha, having their exoskeletons give them a robotic/super armor vibe.
