I just spent all last year applying to jobs, trying to get to stability, and the main org I started work for just had huge budget cuts. I am out of work again. I'm spinning right now looking for work again—if you can contribute in the meantime, v*nmo: ellybelle / CA: ebelle

On the left, my image. On the right, the Al image that was clearly trained on, and designed to plagiarize, my image. All Al generated imagery is inherently theft. It's unethical, environmentally disastrous, and does irreparable harm to both artists and society.

it's so deeply upsetting that trans journalists are being barred from being in newsrooms and not given freelance work at a time when all of this is ramping up and most cis people genuinely don't know how to report on instutitionalized hatred and punishment of trans people. I have concerns and fears.

I’m going to be blunt and say that most disabled people end up dying because healthcare systems are unfit for purpose and prioritise various savings over our lives. In the US blatantly for-profit healthcare system, however, this is *egregiously* so. Constant, open, utterly pointless social murder.
