Stopped for a wee in the public toilet in the village this morning. I think someone was having a really difficult poo when they left this sticker.

Heard a noise whilst I was out for my run this morning. Took me a while to work out what it was: the sound of a sweaty bingo wing slapping against my underarm. The joys of summer running in a skimpy vest.

Been out for a walk in the sun. Saw an orange tip butterfly. Chased it to get a photo. A better wildlife interaction than during this morning’s run, when I shat on a slug. I didn’t take a photo of that.

Two letters from the same NHS hospital department in the post yesterday. One postponing an appointment in May to June. The second, postponing the new June appointment to later in June. Same date on both letters. On the envelopes: "Missed appointments cost NHS funds".

I did a run on the treadmill this morning. Put my towel over the display to stop me focusing on that. A few mins later, reached for the towel to wipe some sweat, and accidentally pressed the 16kph button. Cue a frantic scrabble to press any other button before I shot off the back of the 'mill.

Stopped on my run to say hello to some sheep.

Went for a long run down the Manifold Way in the Peak District this morning. Last time I did that, there was 3 inches of snow, and I wore trail shoes. Today, no snow, but I still thought trail shoes would be appropriate. Turns out it's all tarmac under the snow. I'll know for next time.

Someone’s left this behind at the gym. Just searched for one online and someone’s selling one on EBay for £104.71?! Should have nicked it.

Went to the gym with a couple of those hydrocolloid spot patches on my chin this morning. Luckily they were the clear ones, rather than the panda face shaped ones. Managed to notice them after about 15 mins in the mirror and peeled them off. I don't think anyone saw me? (It was 4am.)

Over-dressed for my run. After spending much of January on the treadmill due to ice, I forgot the rule of outdoor running: if the weather forecast says "feel like -6" you must remember: "No it doesn't, not after a mile of running". Took it slowly so I didn't dissolve in puddle of sweat.

Tired loaf after early morning workout. 10 laps of the settee and some vertical plyometrics for Moo at 03:30 today. #caturday
