There are so many ways to cut corners in brewing and make cheaper, shittier beer as a result. If you use AI in your labeling and marketing, I'm going to assume you cut corners on the beer and have no interest in buying it. It's not even an ethics consideration at that point, just avoiding bad beer.

Tomorrow it's the Urban Pub of the Year presentation to the Barking Cat Alehouse in Parkstone, Poole at 8pm. It's a record winning streak for the Cat mostly due I suspect to the range and quality being like a beer festival every day. Congratulations to Mark, Michael and the staff who make it happen.

Spotted in Belfast Airport - apparently Heverlee “premium” pilsner is brewed to the “original recipe” which dates back to 1129. Surprised by this, given that lager yeast didn’t emerge until the 15th century and pilsner didn’t exist until 1842. ABInBev really don’t give a shit about beer or drinkers.

It was only a matter of time. Was in one of their bars yesterday for the first time in years (there was nowhere else to go.) soulless and empty. Punk IPA undrinkable.
