I think this is my first full color Moorcock character. I've known a few people with albinism, & they aren't alabaster white like stone, so that take on Elric never worked for me - the blood under his skin would still be visible. A tricky set of tones to play with, but satisfying

Finished it, ended up skimming through the last 100 pages since things just felt like they were happening outside of the influence of the protagonist. Would have been more powerful in a story that was a bit more engaging beyond "Case went to this place. Case got high. Case got sad."

I'll just take a page out of Bungie's book and steal the aesthetic and use it for my own thing.

Maybe a game revolving purely around luck and PVP where everything is temporary and takes over an hour to have the loadout of your average Call of Duty protagonist is a bad idea.

I feel bad for Marathon because I really love the artstyle and, knowing Bungie, the gunplay is probably top notch; but 1. It's an extraction shooter. 2. Knowing current Bungie, it's going to be super anticonsumer and everything and anything will be taken away from me at a moment's notice.

Instead of writing the next Jurassic Hearts chapter, I dedicated my time to banging my head against my keyboard to edit a Samyah and Eda story.

Trying to read William Gibson's Neuromancer and while the setting is incredible, to see the foundation of the cyberpunk genre be laid out in such detail, I don't care for the characters. They lack passion and it's hard for me to care about them when they're all so complacent in their hopelessness.

I could say this about a lot of franchises, but Halo is the most recent one.

Just let Halo die, man. It ended decades ago. Move on.
