Meet our Sunday volunteers. The group photo was our open evening for the local history group last night. Sue was a Wars of the Roses re-enactor before she moved to Knighton. Emily is our youngest volunteer and an illustrator of children’s books.

Wow! London’s earliest Roman basilica has been uncovered beneath an office block at 85 Gracechurch Street! Dating to AD 70-80, this discovery sheds new light on ancient Londinium. Plans are in the works to open it to the public. #RomanLondon #Archaeology #Londinium #LondonHistory
