I think it's highly likely that the @wormholeworld.bsky.social August bundle will appear this week. The remixes of Primary School will be one of the 4 CDs. Roberta Fidora, Proc Freq, Xqui, Audio Obscura, Jez Thelwell and mintimperial have taken a track each and made it amazing.

Reggae singles with picture sleeves really are few and far between. I've got a sizable reggae collection but without digging into the UB40, this is the best I could do. #weekendsingles

This is drawn all over in black marker. Presumably the original owner did NOT want anyone to know what was on the turntable. Strangely, the camera has dealt with this really well. You can actually read it in that photo. In real life you can see the trojan name and logo but nothing else.

Squirrel Flowers has a new album out next month so I thought that now would be a good moment to return to this. Easily one of my favorite albums of the last 5 years.

Just one for #weekendsingles for now. This one on Four Tet's Text Records has a locked groove in the middle of a side. Side A is a remix, track one on Side B is a remix and then it ends in a loop of silence. To hear the original version, you have to pick the needle up and drop it in that space.

I was amazing at fixing tapes. Scissors, some sellotape and a bit of patience and I'd have it so that the audio would go a little funny, a couple of seconds of the song would be missed and then back to business as usual. I found one recently that's still doing the business after 30 years.

A great day at Cream Classical at Liverpool Waterfront yesterday. Todd Terry, Chicane and others in the afternoon and then the orchestra and the singers in the evening. I won't be driving today.

Off to that Cream Classical thing at the waterfront this afternoon. Just getting in the mood...
