The last thing I said to my bf before he went under for surgery and then into a currently ongoing medically induced coma was "I love you". And I still say it to him every chance I get when I visit, even though I know full well he can't hear me. You never know when you're gonna stop having chances.

That thing that I said yesterday? About not knowing when you'll have another chance to say "I love you" to someone you care about? Learn from it. Say it to someone you love right now. A friend, a family member, a partner. Please.

I just got the news that my boyfriend of 3 years, @michearts.bsky.social , just went braindead as of 9 AM this morning. I will be taking a further step back from bluesky and most social media until I have properly processed and grieved.
