Hong Kong registered 2,451 births in August 2025, which would be the lowest monthly figure since statistics were compiled if it weren't for the Covid pandemic. It is also on pace for a 2025 total of 32,000 births, which would be a record low at least since 1966

people say hong kongers love to complain. what are the benefits to the people who complain? no, they suffer instead. they use time to type a complaint letter. the complany which receives complaints can benefit to enhance their customer services.

prevention is always much better than cure this will hurt the medical industry that's why docs in HK won't remind patients to get vaccinated. maybe bc patients are often anti-vaxxers

in the past, HKO and EDB just let the students get wet with rain and then get sick. GP benefited from this inhumane Arrangement. children nowadays are getting less and they are viewed as more valuable

Hong Kong being at the top of the list is no surprise. However, if we use the numbers from Hong Kong's Census and Statistics Department, it's even worse. Latest numbers as of end-2024: • Share of Population below age 18: 12.05% • Number of children below age 18: 908,200
