If you've ever worked in anime localization/dubbing then you would know that the client needs to be aware of EVERY decision by the studio. They have final say on everything; even casting choices. Amazon doing this without their knowledge is HUGE. At the very least it would endanger their license.

Ask literally any voice actor if they get royalties from the video games they worked on. They will tell you no. They might even laugh. Now imagine any developer actively trying to use AI VO to save money wanting to offer something like that.
