hot take: Rage-quitting games may have a negative connotation to it, but I think it's good, actually. Not, of course, if you quit a game to then go rage and break things, but if a game is genuinely upsetting you, you should really take a break. It's a good thing to do.

I made a status on RGT basically saying that I can't really enjoy fan translations anymore because of the sudden overabundance of AI translations and I got one pretty salty reply saying that "well, translations are free!! It's better than nothing!" Admittedly, didn't want to waste my time replying.

When they originally got rid of dislikes, that skyrocketed the downfall of YouTube that began with the adpocalypse.

The removal of dislikes was 100% to suppress criticism. Just a cynical, corporate way of trying to silence the mass consensus and tightening their grip around what you are allowed to see. YouTube will never address criticism when it views critical feedback itself as a problem they need to eliminate.
