A lot in today's health and disability #pathwaystowork Green Paper. Might be helpful to see this in four areas: 1. Big savings (aka cuts) by removing PIP from some disabled people (those who never score 4+ on a single daily living descriptor). Number of losers unclear from today's materials. 1/4

after the weeks of speculation, it's disappointing to see what the government's welfare proposals amount to. The tightening of PIP criteria and increase in frequency of reassessments are particularly unhelpful

Final bit of promo is for a methods paper based on my favourite PhD chapter. I deployed an interpretivist, phenomenological, approach to participant-created photographs. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.metip.2024.100135

Separated away from participants' narratives, I analysed the photos using IPA. I then made collages from the Group Experiential Themes - using them to communicate the affective and analytical meanings of each theme
