My immune system has just given up the ghost this month. Being sick more than I’m passably healthy when I work at a job where I have nobody to cover me might actually kill me because I never have time to recover.

UBI would let me get the medical testing and procedures I keep putting off done without worrying about having to take the time off with no short term disability coverage.

Being sick with horribly vague symptoms is the worst. Severe fatigue, nausea that shifts in severity, intestinal pain, and not being able to stomach much other than grilled cheeses for days is frustrating.
