I know it's a slippery slope to suggest being licensed to be a parent, so I don't think it's a good idea, but there are people for whom a cursory glance at their lives and choices is sufficient to find their aptitude in that arena deeply lacking, and I wish kids didn't end up with them for parents.

Is anyone else past the point of taking certain things seriously? I know everything is deadly serious right now, but watching the foundational pillars of the society I was raised to believe would endure forever utterly crumble has made it hard for me to worry about my credit debt, you know?
