Never thought I could host my own guitar camp. My ADHD brain will probably never be able to organise anything (it was run by Natasha Koczy, Thomas Leeb & @robbarnaville.bsky.social). But I can trust myself that I'll handle being sociable now, being calm when I'm tired. And look what that's worth.

My family just got this much bigger. An unforgettable week of connection through these magical wooden boxes of joy called guitars. Very lucky to have had such an amazing collection of characters for the first ever UK Acoustic Bootcamp. Bring on next year!

300 performers applied to open for my UK tour dates, and a crazy 47,454 people voted for their favourite. I listened to as many as I could, and I loved them all in different ways. It was basically impossible to choose, so I hope nobody feels offended. Here's the artists confirmed so far:

Just about emerging from the beautiful emotional afterglow I always experience after seeing the incredible @jongomm.bsky.social. The 5th time I’ve seen Jon live and I feel more and more inspired and in awe of the world - and his musicianship - every time. This was his first show of his UK tour. Ace!

The festival I was playing as the Leeds date of my UK Tour has been cancelled. I don't know why exactly because the reason was boring & I drifted off. So I've booked a solo Leeds date instead! This is the chaos you learn to live with as a Jon Gomm™️ fan.

UK tour starts next week in Sheffield then Grimsby. I've listened to as many of the musicians who applied for support slots as I could manage (there were 299 of you!) My manager Natasha is contacting THE CHOSEN ONES now. Everyone else: Just come to a gig! Or tell your friends. Or both!

My first ever gig outside the UK was in Italy at Soave Guitar Festival in 2004. I went with the inimitable Brendan Croker who steadied my nerves with wine & licorice flavoured roll ups.
