My last gig ended with a snapped elbow. Now I'm deep into rehab, and this tour is the distant light I'm fighting towards every day. And dreaming about. TBH I won't care if I'm the only person in the venue. But if you'd like to be there for my unleashing, that would lovely too

Any ideas for stuff I can do while I'm out of action? I need a project (music related obvs)

Surgery went well. The end of my humerus is now screwed back into place. Photo from before the anaesthetic was fully worn off, with nurse/literal-angel Sheryl Pain will wear off soon, then BRING ON THE PHYSIO. Gonna keep posting updates, the support from everyone is keeping the darkness at bay

Having surgery on my elbow today. Keep thinking of my 6 year old self learning his first chords. Wish me luck.

I skipped school a lot. People think atypical teenagers are being different on purpose to be cool. But you're not even cool, you're viewed with suspicion, or even bullied I'd hide in music stores. Everyone is a musician, so it's chatting on easy mode. I go to them like old fellas go to barber shops

Never thought I could host my own guitar camp. My ADHD brain will probably never be able to organise anything (it was run by Natasha Koczy, Thomas Leeb & @robbarnaville.bsky.social). But I can trust myself that I'll handle being sociable now, being calm when I'm tired. And look what that's worth.

My family just got this much bigger. An unforgettable week of connection through these magical wooden boxes of joy called guitars. Very lucky to have had such an amazing collection of characters for the first ever UK Acoustic Bootcamp. Bring on next year!

As someone whose own neuro-jazziness can leave me feeling isolated, to be able to make this connection with people through music is, well, it gives my past meaning and my future purpose, basically. Thank you to everyone who came to a gig on the UK tour. I feel a bit lost now it's over
