CNBC is tossing softballs at the Butterball rep. They asked "How big is the average Butterball turkey?" And the rep evaded! What is she hiding!

Hey Worcester, are there any clothing donation places that are specifically looking for professional - type clothes? Rather than just dumping them in a generic donation bin? I'm giving up on my pre-Covid suits.

Great piece by Zadie Smith. When the right talks about classics or "Western" culture, these works are only important to the extent that it demonstrates their superiority, they have no interest in art in and of itself beyond that

Do any of the betting websites have a line on the Pres receiving an extravagant gift from a foreign head of state containing the stolen jewels from the Louvre within the next few weeks? My exact prediction is a WWE-style belt.

Hot dog coat-of-arms, created for the 50th anniversary of the invention of the hot dog, at Coney Island in 1939. Shows a hot dog being knighted, flanked by two wiener dogs, crowned by mustard. (They took some liberties with the Latin, but do you expect a hot dog place to have an in-house Latinist?)

I like to watch old music videos and tonight I was watching We are Young by Fun and there is blatant product placement for a Windows Phone which reminded me that the maps function on those was so bad that I almost missed a first date that kicked off a great too year relationship.

Tonight I learned that I can walk to Bancroft Tower in 20 minutes (it's a workout), that a good view of the city can change in 25-30 years (the last time I was there), and that there are functioning gas lamps on the way up there.

Many on this Council spit the word "renter" like a slur so often you might be surprised that they're on a CITY Council. They've made it clear they have no interest in protecting those who live in apartments if it means telling their friends to do better.
