The family policing system often operates in two violent extremes against fathers: it either casts fathers as absent and disposable or sees fathers as a threat and incapable of providing care. This is not an accident. It is intentional. And it is racialized.

To all the fathers missing their babies: we see you. We mourn with you. We fight alongside you. 💙 This Father’s Day, we honor the love, resistance, and power of fathers—especially Black, Indigenous, and Latine fathers—who have long been criminalized and erased by the family policing system.
