🧠 Women’s mental health research has historically been underfunded and underprioritized, with much of women’s health research focused on obstetrics and gynecology. This #WomensHistoryMonth, BD²’s Women’s Health Workgroup is helping close gaps by studying how bipolar disorder can differ in women.

🧠🔬Last week, 150 members of the BD² network convened for our 3rd annual Investigators Meeting. From genetics and brain circuits to whole-body health, we are uniting science and community to turn breakthroughs into improved care for people living with bipolar disorder.
