Another question for my wargaming folks: do you believe that wargaming scenarios by their very nature need to be asymmetrical?

Does anyone actually write wargaming scenarios anymore? Maybe it's the fact that most of my local scene is pickup games of 40k, but I just really don't see actual scenarios being played anymore.

Question for the people who wargame in 15mm - where do you get your terrain?

Been thinking about this, but I think the thing that frustrates me with "modern" editions (post 7e) of #warhammer40000 is that it's become a story, not a setting. It's become less and less about Your Dudes and the story you've carved out for them in this wider setting, and more an actual story.(1/2)

I absolutely love stuff like this - games that are designed from the ground up to take you on a journey. Because that, to me, is what tabletop gaming is - collaborative journeying and storytelling. Can't wait to see where this journey leads you!
