#PitchDis I just submitted a short story that is Spec Fiction. That's the only finished work I've done that is set on Earth! I usually write High Fantasy. So, when I'm done with my current WIP. I'm going to turn that short story into a full Speculative Fiction novel! What do you think?

#PitchDis My FMC is called Sy. About 3 years ago, I was exchanging with an amazing CP. Her character was called Em (short for Emilie?). I found it brilliant since most fantasy names are too long or unpronounceable! But I didn't want an Earth name. So I picked "Sy" since it sounds like "sigh"!

Does anyone know why there are two versions of Hemlock & Silver by @tkingfisher.com on Audible Germany with such a huge length difference? While Audible sometimes has two versions of a book, the length difference is usually minutes & not 3 hours and 40 minutes!! They're both sold as "Unabridged"!

While the German translations of book/movie titles are usually cringeworthy, I must admit their unsophisticated & unsubtle attempt is helpful in this case! "The Empyrean" might beguile anyone, yet there's no confusion as to what "Flammengeküsst" (Kissed by Flames) is about!🤣 #writingcommunity

My eldest cat has yet to accept my foster kitten. I do my best to keep them from fighting. Today I discovered a scratch on the foster kitten's nose, but also noticed a patch of fur missing from the old cat's forehead. So it's safe to say it was a fur match!😆
