Ahora mismo, mientras paseaba al perro, acabo de vivir la típica escena en la que alguien no sabe que lo observan y revela algo inesperado. Lo guay es que en mi caso en lugar de descubrir que mi vecino es un asesino me enteré de que canta las rancheras de puta madre.

Listen folks, we can stop arguing the specifics. Here's the four main things: - Unity should not be able to retroactively change the terms & conditions on products or sales you've already made. Them making this move says they're willing to, and that should be terrifying.

When facing the "All we need is STEM!" approach to education, my usual response is: Developing the vaccine was the STEM problem; distribution & getting shots in arms was the Social Science problem; getting people to trust it & combatting misinformation was the Humanities problem-- which did we fail?

Pues en Bluesky me pasa igual que con tuiter, me destruye el jodido contador de caracteres. Siempre que intento escribir algo termino en rojo, así que empiezo a recortar hasta que me queda algo parecido pero que no es lo mismo que quería decir. Luego veo a otros que manejan esto nivel dios y lloro.😭

Escucho que juegos de UE5 como Immortals of Aveum (que ya jugué, es bueno) "sufren por los límites de poder de consolas modernas". Diré algo controversial: la solución no son consolas más poderosas, es dejar de hacer juegos con requerimientos tan absurdos.

I used to miss an "AddRow" node when working with DataTables in UE5 till I decided to do it my own. The good side of this engine is that you can always go down to C++ to build new features... This is usually the bad side too. 😅 #GameDev #UE5

"Geez, the [insert game] developers are so lazy!" Wrong. Gamedevs, by nature, are not lazy. Most are insanely driven and overworked, pushing everything else in their lives aside for 8-12 hr workdays. Mismanaged? Maybe. Lazy? No. This shouldn't be in anyone's vocabulary regarding gamedevs.

I don’t think it can be emphasized enough that large language models were never intended to do math or know facts; literally all they do is attempt to sound like the text they’re given, which may or may not include math or facts. They don’t do logic or fact checking — they’re just not built for that
