Today in the house a transphobic question was asked. I was extremely disappointed by the question and the disregard for the harm and danger this languages causes To the 2sLGBTQIA+ community, our government sees you and stands with you Hate should have no place in the Leg and it has no place in BC.

British Columbians are doing their best to buy BC when they can and they expect the government to do the same. Now is the time to continue to support Canadian jobs, find new markets and develop strong ties with countries that aren’t threatening us.

I met with Prime Minister Carney about the need for a Team Canada response to Trump’s escalating attack on our forestry industry. We’re ready to work with Ottawa to stand up for the communities and families that depend on these jobs.

Yesterday, I had the honor of recognizing the life and legacy of Jube Wickheim. A cherished member of the Sooke and Shawnigan Lake communities, Jube’s impact will be remembered for years to come. His dedication, kindness, and contributions to those around him leave a lasting legacy.
