This Trump speech is much bigger than Venezuela. He talked about the Monroe Doctrine - about America’s sphere of influence. He’s warning that any country close to the US must bow to the needs of America or power will be exerted.

Trump just said, "We're going to run the country," referring to Venezuela. This isn't liberation; it's invasion and imperial occupation. It's against international law, against the sovereignty of a country, and in complete disregard of its people.

Erm.... Surely this now means he's calling this an invasion and not simply bringing 'justice' - You cannot just decide you are in charge of a country. That is what vice/deputy's are for..

It’s funny how the problem around you can influence where you go on holiday. We have a bunch of Latvian and Estonian crew onboard, and I think without having known them I would never have booked a holiday to either country.
