Still trying to figure out the optimum "warehouse tip" to order from Big Z. When they first introduced it, I thought "haha they accidentally turned tipping on, they're a fabric place" and didn't use it, and my orders were always missing something or had something otherwise goofed up.

Am I still messing around with these instead of listing actual finished stuff? YEP (for a "fun" example of how the screen does not always translate to physical stitchout, I left out pull compensation on the first test and that led to things like the "E" in "MAKE")

It is gingerbread season again!

Well that's not too surprising. (mostly because this is a focused account, versus my personal one in which my most-used word is... wait for it... "those" 🤷)

Love too have Facebook send me three(!) emails telling me my dormant business account is restricted from buying advertising and that I can take them to court to get it restored, then log in to FB and have no explanation *why* (the account does have an alert confirming it, so wasn't phishing).

Me: Okay so I am going to spend December getting all my products put into Shopify so I can have a cart on my website again. Shopify, December 1: lol, lmao

Another wreath-embellishment set coming out next week! I'm kinda bummed that this house doesn't have a sheltered front door (it's a bungalow whose full-width porch was enclosed, so we have a second, inside front door now but no one can see it).

Still not quite back up to speed two weeks post-surgery, so my photography game is worse than usual. But the November designs (yes, plural) have started to hit the shop (also over on Patreon). They're free to members, or you can buy one-off (but why would you when membership is cheaper?)

Anybody else feel compelled to rearrange the letters when making a bunting to see what goofy things you can spell? Just me? (I have ten more letters coming, it's not too goofy yet BUT JUST WAIT)

The in-the-hoop snek is optimized for square hoops and also to loop nicely around itself, because ball pythons are named for their defensive behavior which is... just what it sounds like. (They usually wrap around a branch instead of hanging from it, of course. 😉)

Okay, it stole the show and has been promoted to the primary reward drop. This is the no-applique version, because the holographic-black JoAnn (🫡) vinyl is fun all by itself. Skips all the applique/capture steps, just lets the vinyl be itself. (It's a bunting, just not on a ribbon yet.)

The mix-and-match stacking pumpkins is going to be a fun reward drop (happening Saturday) but I have the feeling the bonus design is going to steal the show: a crystal ball with a capture section so you can put things inside it like the canning jar I did a few months back.

I have free-design-a-month memberships available on both Ko-Fi (ko-fi.com/silverseams) and Patreon (patreon.com/silverseams) and Patreon has just yanked the shop function that allowed me to keep the two memberships' features identical. 😩 I can still do it, but it's a lot more hoop-jumping for me.

My late mother-in-law was raised in rural Kansas and I absorbed a bit of her accent but not the part where "embroidery" was a verb. A three-syllable one: "I embroid'reed a sweatshirt." HOWEVER my fingers don't know when to stop so I thought of her when I typed "you can embroidery on" in chat. 🫡
