🎄💚 A Grinch-tastic week for P7S and P4D! The groups worked really well together, using communication, collaboration and creativity to act out The Grinch, design Whoville, build houses, create a Grinch outfit, playlist and even a board game. So much teamwork and fun! 💚🎁 @mrsd-stp.bsky.social

Snowpeople ⛄️ We enjoyed creating our own little snowpeople! We had to use marshmallow, icing and toothpick. Don’t think many will make it home! 🤭

Week 2 of skills academy P2B used different meta-skills to finish their sewing task. We have to use focusing and communication skills when threading the needle. We used creative and initiative skills through our drawing and play. @mrsb-stp.bsky.social

Engineering in Primary 4. The children used their meta skills to build a structure that would keep an egg safe when dropped from a height. Everyone’s egg landed safe! Well done superstars. 🤩 @mrsd-stp.bsky.social

Last week, I had the pleasure of working again with Primary 4D @mrsd-stp.bsky.social for our second Skills Academy session. We explored what makes a garden wildlife-friendly, then used creativity and collaboration to bring our ideas to life. Some of the children wanted you to see their work!

Reuse, Reduce, Recycle ♻️ We loved our visit on Friday from Robert from @falkirkcouncilasn.bsky.social He told us how to recycle and we even saw binfluencer

It’s our right! We have been learning our rights and putting them into practise. We drew important rights to us, created our class charter and used them during teamwork. #uncrc
