figured i’d update: this is the newest leaf that was produced from the previous leaf’s damaged petiole!! i was honestly shocked it was able to grow at all, especially in the midst of my war on thrips. the leaf with the bent/broken petiole had to go though. overall, not the worst outcome!!

just saw the bright light social hour for the 3rd time this year, which i think is a record for us and for them. talked to Jackie extensively after their set about kglw among other things. i love this band so fucking much, pls catch them wherever they end up, they deserve crowds and everything else

i’m spiraling. i knew i should’ve brought more plants to my office, my coworkers seem to love them. i knew i should’ve brought more plants to the co-op even though we don’t have a plant shelf there yet. so much regret and idek how the thrips got here in the first place. this is fucking me up so bad.

this situation is making me feel physically ill… i always get nervous about prep for overwintering plants anyway bc they have to stay in such close quarters, now i worry whether i’ll have any of my plants left… if i can just keep my faves/oldest ones alive i’ll be so thankful. ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh 😖🫩
